The Department of Molecular and Cellular Biology (MOCEL) is seeking to host a new Swiss National Science Foundation (SNSF) Starting Grant professor. We encourage applications from outstanding candidates pursuing internationally recognized research in any area of molecular and/or cellular biology. With 11 research groups, MOCEL covers a large breadth of research topics and approaches, from structural biology to dynamic cellular mechanisms, across a wide range of model organisms. We strive to support the career of junior investigators, with the possibility for SNSF professors to enter the tenure track.

The successful SNSF Starting Grant recipient will receive support from MOCEL in the form of research spaceand research funding, as well as access to state-of-the-art facilities, technological platforms, and administrative support.
