RNA Canada ARN would like to invite you to “Stories from the clinic” (October 1st 2024, 20:30 – 21:30), where patients, patient advocates and clinicians share their stories. We aim to highlight how RNA-driven research has influenced the lives of patients and their families and pushes clinical advances with the hope of providing new therapeutics for different diseases.

Representatives from the Rory Belle Foundation, a organization that brings awareness to disorders caused by NARS1 mutations

The panel will be moderated by Katherine Borden, Université de Montréal and Haissi Cui, University of Toronto. The experience of patients and families living with disorders caused by RNA repeats, mutations in RNA binding and processing proteins, as well as patients participating in clinical trials for RNA-based treatments for cancer will be shared and discussed. Clinicians working on cutting-edge therapeutics will provide insights into the clinical application of new research directions.  We hope to see you there at RNA Canada ARN 2024!
