The RNA Canada ARN Education Committee will be hosting a forum in their Perspectives on RNA series entitled: CRISPR and its Applications
It will take place on Wednesday, February 19th, 3-4:30 pm EST/12 -1:30 pm PST.

Tiffany Carlaw, Ph.D. (Postdoc in Sarah Hedtrich’s Lab, UBC): Introduction to CRISPR and its applications (10 min talk) and moderator
Sarah Hedtrich, Ph.D. (Associate Professor, UBC): In situ gene editing to correct disease-causing mutations in human first defense epithelia (10 min talk)
Basil Hubbard, Ph.D. (Associate Professor, UofT): Enhancing CRISPR gene editing using chemically-modified guide RNAs (10 min talk)
S. Brian Kim, Ph.D. (Assistant Professor, York U.): Transforming Agriculture through CRISPR Genome Editing (10 min talk)
Followed by a ~ 45 minute panel discussion!
