Item #3: Technical Workshops. Introduction to Python: Sequence-to-Function Analysis for RNA
Tentative dates:
Day 1: April 7, 2025, 12-4pm (EST) / 9am-1pm (PST)
Day 2: April 14, 2025, 12-4pm (EST) / 9am-1pm (PST)
Audience: RNA biologists yearning for a “gateway” to bioinformatics.
Pre-requisites: No formal training in bioinformatics is required. While it may be beneficial to have some exposure to basic programming concepts (variables, lists, strings, etc.) and familiarity with online bioinformatics tools, this is not necessary.
Delivery: Online (live demos, breakout rooms, practical exercises, Q&A)
